Hi guys. This is my first time here and my first post.
On the Google Play website, the Yahoo Messenger Plug-in is to be listed as a non-compatible with this phone: Vodafone Smart II (or Alcatel v860), with Android 2.3.7 and no root.
I managed to download and install the v1.6 (latest version) of this plugin and it worked like a charm. Voice calls and video calls work smooth.
I know Yahoo declined the recent Microsoft deal but what if Microsoft would sweeten the deal and yahoo excepts it, would the Yahoo brand die? I mean look Yahoo has a line-up of dedicated services like mail, messenger and now even Flickr with a host of users and with a merger how would they keep the loyal fanbase?
