Hello All,
Another odd problem now, every time I watch a video (Youtube or in embedded in a web page), it will stop playing after about 2 minutes, or I should say, it only loads about 2 minutes worth of data.
Clean install of the latest Statler 64-bit yesterday. In both Google Chrome and Firefox, YouYube videos are not playing properly. They start playing normally, but then the video freezes (including the progress bar, so it's more than the video, I guess), but the audio keeps playing normally.
So, I haven't the slightest idea why, but in the middle of no-where, my phone just hands-down stops loading ANY videos over the internet. By this, I mean the youtube app doesn't work [nor do any apps that play youtube videos], m.youtube.com doesn't work, dailymotion.com doesn't work, etc. At first [when I tried to play it in the app], I thought it was a video problem.
I have got a new ipad few days ago. Now I want to download some youtube videos to my ipad for watching, but I can not do it well. Firstly I don’t know how to download, secondly I have no idea of converting the Youtube video to ipad video supported video formats, so it is really a headache. If you are good at playing with ipad, would you like to provide me a link to operate it? Thanks.

I have Ubuntu 11.04 (natty).
I have read 'Screen goes blank when VLC is playing video'
My question is similar, but also I have this problem when viewing a video on youtube.
I am not quite clear about the meaning of 'computer idle'. Is it considered idle only when the keyboard or mouse is not being used?
Hmm no that's not working for me; both with the regular user agent and Ipad, the video starts buffering (progress bar) but stays paused.
Hey everyone, I'm getting this problem on my HTC One X. When playing videos on YouTube it makes harsh popping sounds a little bit like static. It also sticks an jumps a little bit on the video. I've tried this on multiple video, with and without headphones, WiFi and mobile internet, Beats enhancer on/off, old YouTube and latest version. How can I fix this?
I have had this problem since the beginning, and was hoping upgrading to JDQ39 would fix it, but it didn't.
Whenever I try and watch videos in the YouTube app, they will stop and buffer from what ranges to about every 20-30 seconds, to every 5 seconds. It is absolutely maddening, especially when I'm on a 20Mb connection and have zero issues playing YouTube videos on any computer.
