Hey guys... Been searching around a little bit, and I haven't really found what I'm looking for. Just need a good way to monitor CPU temp from a panel?
EDIT: Oops...Running Xubuntu 12.04
So, I've used Mprime on numerous occasions in the past, and I've never had an issue. It has been awhile, so maybe I'm doing something wrong? I just can't seem to get it to run. I must be typing a command wrong?
- I used the link in this thread to get the tarball. Here
- Then I extracted the contents to a folder called "mprime" on my desktop.
I am running Xubuntu 12.10 on a HP dv2000 laptop with no external monitor connected. I went into the display settings and unchecked use this monitor or something like that. As soon as I did that my screen went black. I'm assuming that it things that there is a second monitor and now the "second monitor" is the main display? How can I get my main screen back?
I'm using Avant Windows Manager and Xubuntu with pure XFCE4. I'm trying to change the monitor that AWN shows up on. I tried changing the primary monitor with Xrandr, but it doesn't seem to want to change the primary monitor with Xubuntu.
Does anyone know how I can do this? If not, does anyone have suggestion on a dock to use that allows for me to change the monitor it shows up on?
Okay guys, this has never happened before in all my many years of using linux based operating systems, I have Xubuntu 12.04 LTS x64 installed on a ASUS laptop with an AMD E1-1200 APU with Radeon HD Graphics, I use a ASUS monitor it has HDMI, VGA and DVI inputs.
I was playing arround with conky and wanted to show an animation..So I took a compdead.gif and used this line to grap all stills from it:gifsicle --unoptimize --explode /home/pieter/temp/compdead.gif --output /home/pieter/temp/temp.gifAbove line creates images in /temp/ that look like this:temp.gif.001
