Environment:
I have a Brother 7360N Network Printer connected to a TPLINK Router over an Ethernet cable.
My desktop, running Windows 8 is connected to the TPLINK Router over an Ethernet cable. A ROKU device is connected over Ethernet.
The TPLINK Router is setup as "Client Bridge (Routed)" wirelessly connected to my other router, a Linksys 3000. Both routers are on DD-WRT.
Hi,
We have 3 computers with windows xp installed and two canon ir2200-ir3300 printer all connected through a router box. Each computer and each printer has ip addresses. It was configured like tcp ip enabled printer inside the local printer option. Each windows system can see both printer with ip and can select them to print.
Now we want to try ubuntu in one of the system.
I have a Netgear WNDR4500 wireless router which allows me to print wirelessly to a printer connected to it via a USB cable.
Hi all,I have a Canon MP600 printer/scanner connected via USB to a small print- and scan-server running Arch (last update was yesterday). The printer is shared over the network and can be accessed from a Windows 7 client. But from time to time after 1-2 prints the printer crashes. I that happens, only a power disconnect can bring it back.
Hi
I have very basic network settings in my home. Cable connected to my Linksys Wireless G router. My wife and I connect to that using our laptop.
Yes. I did enable encryption to connect. Also my wireless printer is connected to that.
For some reason, last night around 12:30 AM, the printer acted like it was going to print. Then it didn't print any thing. Again it did that one hour later.
I have a netgear WGR614 v8 and a Brother HL-2270DW wireless printer. Yesterday I flashed the router with DD-WRT firmware. now my printer will not connect. printer error page says "Connection : Failed (Error : TS-07) The machine cannot detect a WLAN access point/router that has WPS or AOSS enabled.
Hi all,
I am running F17, 3.6.9-2.fc17.i686.PAE and having problem to get my network printer to work. I installed the printer under Application>others>printing, it seems detect my printer over network and allow my to finish the process with correct printer path.
Previously, my family has used Windows Homegroup to print from any computer throughout the house. This is fine except for me, since my laptop is pure Ubuntu (10.04).
The printer is connected via USB to a Windows 7 desktop that's connected to an ethernet port on the back of the router.
I'm trying to setup my printer using Ethernet connection on Ubuntu 10.10
My issue arises from the printer being located (by necessity) too far away for a USB connection. I have an Ethernet switch to handle the crossover and the printer is attached to that.
The printer setup utility finds my printer without any problems and adds it as a dsnsd printer. However I cannot get it to print.
