MSI Wind U100+ with Ralink RT2700E on 12.04 32bit.
The problem was also present in 10.04 - but I was able to fix it by editing /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-rt2800.conf and adding
# This is to fix wifi on the MSI Wind with the Ralink RT2700E.
Hello,I'm using Crunchbang on my laptop and pc for some time now and it works great!Yesterday I installed it on my girlfriends netbook, a MSI Wind U100. Until yesterday she was using Ubuntu (LTS).I have 2 problems, the first one is that wifi isn't working. The internal wifi card was also not working in Ubuntu, but I fixed it with an USB wifi receiver.
Hello,i am quite new to linux and thanks to the great wiki´s and forums so far i was always successful in finding a solution for a problem.but right now i am a little confused, because after installing chrunch bang on my netbook (it is a rebranded wind u100) there are some problems with sound. When i connect my external Speakers to the netbook, the sound seems to get broken or something.
I have installed Ubuntu 11.10 on a vista laptop, but Dell is providing the BIOS update in .exe format currently my bios version is A09 but on the driver download site the latest version of bios is A011.
