Hello, please excuse my bad english.I have a problem. Since the libreoffice update from 3.5.6 to 3.6.1.4 libreoffice don't start. For a short time i see the splash-screen and that's it. In the terminal, when i type soffice or lowriter or libreoffice --writer i can't see any message. Also i deleted the ~/.config/libreoffice folder. But that doesn't help.
I'm having a weird problem with Ubuntu: I un-installed libreoffice-common and its dependencies with synaptic and cannot reinstall it. It's missing libreoffice-stype-default which is nowhere to be found.
Hi,
I have recently installed Ubuntu 12.10, and am using LibreOffice 3.6.2.2, and I am trying to attempt to set particular paths in LibreOffice, more specifically:
the Directory Path to my Templates,
(Tools->Options->LibreOffice->Paths)
and also the paths for trusted Sources for Macros (Tools->Options->LibreOffice->Security->Macro Security->Trusted Sources.
LibreOffice has an "Ask LibreOffice" page http://ask.libreoffice.org/questions/
My question is how do you ask LibreOffice? I can't ask this question by using that page because it won't really post your question unless you login. To login, you must select one of several types of ID services that I don't (knowingly) use or you must register.
I can't use some features of Libreoffice (some extensions, macros) because my Java runtime environment (openJdk-6) is not recognized in my system (see screenshot) When launching Libreoffice from the terminal, I get:
javaldx: Could not find a Java Runtime Environment!
Tried to repair broken apt. LibreOffice.
Every time I click Libre Office in the menu, it returns this error:
Failed to execute command "libreoffice --writer %U".Failed to execute
child process "libreoffice" (No such file or directory)
When installing Libre office, it returns this error:
The following packages have unmet dependencies: libreoffice-core :

I am running Ubuntu 11.04.
I am using ubuntu12.04 and the xfce4.6.
Now I remove the libreoffice through the Ubuntu Software Center, however it seems that it is not removed completely.
Since I can find the libreoffice item at the menu Application-Office-LIbreOffice,also I can run the libreoffice command in the terminal.
