I've had this phone for 5 months now and am very disappointed in the poor photo quality at the 5mp size. There is a lot of noise and focus fuzziness in most of the photos I have taken.
I also recently noticed that this camera takes photos at 72 DPI (as opposed to 180 DPI by my Canon point & shoot camera).

I'm a new Android user; I made the switch from iPhone. I notice that the photos I've been taking with this phone look completely different than the ones I used to take on my iPhone. iPhone's photos turned out crisp, clear, and what I saw on the screen before snapping the photo is exactly how the photo would turn out.
questioning on here as i've looked into everything what it is i can take a photo om my sony erricson xperia play but then once its taken it like it freezes and doesn't save the photo as i can't do anything and the only way to exit it is via the home button so the question i'm asking anyone else had this problem with there phone and is there a fix as i cant send it off or anything as its been boug

I have a question , I don't know if this is a question , but
Me and my friend have the same phone (Nexus S I9023) I have the black version , and he has the white one.
Both phones are running on Jelly Bean 4.1.1.
The problem is with the Camera, when I take a photo with his phone , if it's checked while taking it , it appears great with no blur or shaking.
