Xorg.conf Mouse configuration issue

http://www.linuxquestions.org – Hi, I have a Logitech Marble Mouse that works fine except for the speed and acceleration. I can fix this in the terminal by typing in xorg m 5 1, The problem is that it doesn't save anywhere so I have to do this each time I boot up. I can't find xorg.conf. I tried to create it with gedit in usr\share\xll\xorgconfd (or something like that) but it wouldn't let me save it saying I don't have permission. Is there some way to do this with the sudo command? I'm guessing that would work since It always asks for a password. Is there another easier way to do this? I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 desktop. Thank (HowTos)
