xorg server (can't install google earth stable, acroread)

http://askubuntu.com – I'm on a Dell inspiron x86_64. With Precise Pangolin 12.04.2 through the regular updates. I recently upgraded the Linux kernel from 3.2 (Installed Precise 12.04 in Oct.12) to 3.5 (the one that comes with 12.04.2 & 12.10- called "lts quantal"). I know that with the new kernel also comes a new xorg server. Before the upgrade some files needed a removal (at least that was I was told by the terminal): wine, acroread and google earth. After the system restarted I looked to reinstall google earth but there is a message on Software Center: To install google earth stable, these items must be (HowTos)
