http://crunchbanglinux.org – I just created a little icon for use with the panel, http://omploader.org/vNTF5cA/crunchbang … llator.png , inspired by a wallpaper that imposcillator did. Not very fancy and a little "off" perhaps, but its nicer than the X+mouse :POther people wanting to create icons for the menu-icon could do so and post it here if they wish. (HowTos)

After searching for a solution for a few days, I believe that this could be a bug. After increasing the height of the xfce-panel I noticed, that the icons of the window buttons remained small. Because this looks stupid and makes recognizing the icons harder than it has to be I want to increase the icon size of the window buttons of my xfce4-panel.

People always say network manager icon,sound icon,or other applets is losing from the gnome-panel and want how to get the icon back.Despite these icons’ missing may be caused by series reasons,the first solution come to my mind is add them back by “Add to Panel” in right-click on panel menu.

All these icons can be re-added onto the gnome-panel,so we just need to know what’

I was venting my frustration yesterday and one of the things which was hurting my brain was not being able to do this in KDE 4.3.x, when I could do it in 3.5.1 ...........

I use KDE on Fedora 17. There are several icons on the desktop. When the mouse cursor is on an icon a menu appears on the right side of the icon. I never use it.

I would like to replace the "f" icon in the top left menu bar in gnome. I've understood the icon is named start-here.png and I replaced it by my own icon in every folder I've found it. And I rebooted the system. But I still have the "f" icon in the menu bar. Has someone successfully replaced this icon and how to do it ?

This may appear "old" as a question, but I am not getting the point and I will stick to kde3.5 up to July or December of 2010, so time to "play". I am not getting the logic of the kde3 icon system: I installed my proper icon-sets and they do so in /home/myusername/.kde/share/icons

My son is very into dr who so I made him a wallpaper using images from the bbc website.Mine is below.

I'm planning on installing Ubuntu 12.04 on on my main computer soon, but before doing that, I ran it in a virtual machine to see about getting the old Gnome UI on it.
