Not fixed unfortunately must have been a particularly artifact free piece of video that let me to believe the problem had disappeared.

I'm seeing random red pixel noise all over any youtube videos I watch The only thing I can think of that may have caused it is I performed an -Syu yesterday which changed my video driver to xf86-video-intel-uxa.Any hints to the cause would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I have two monitors and only one panel on Xfce4. My problem is that when I'm watching a fullscreen movie on SMPlayer and I click on my second monitor, the panel appears above the movie. How can I change this?Thank you.

Ok thanks guys, as long as it's a 'design feature'.But why is the background of the panel visible in the overview/desktop, but then given an awful background when viewing the panel from within an application?

Thanks for your report, I'm having the same problem with Xfce 4.10 and Compiz now. I didn't really understand, which of the two code blocks corresponds to the old value and which one to the working one? Thanks,PhotonX

You could just switch off the jwm panel and run lxpanel from .jwmrc startup. That would give you an auto-updating menu, a dock for volumeicon, plus configurable panel size.

I use xfce, really is possible make xfce look like win if you customize and append the respectibbes aplpets and menus in one panel in the bottom (removing the other panel)adding a good theme and corrects app (and if you want desktop shortcuts) can make xfce4 look like winsame for OSX but is a little more of work, you need a dock, customize the panel and a good theme like (mac-osx-{icon,theme,curso
Alright seems to be an Xorg bug. Fixed it by stretching the 1px wide images to 2px in width.https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 5#p1154755
