XFCE and new BPO ISO

http://crunchbanglinux.org – Please forgive me if this question has already been asked.  I've just installed the newest BPO image on a fresh partition and have installed XFCE in place of Openbox (nothing personal - I just prefer it).  Now I'm trying to customize it (i.e. make it look like #! from the XFCE era) and am running into issues.  Is there an easy way of installing the original Statler themes (circa crunchbang-10-20110207-xfce-i686.iso)?  Specifically, I'm trying to keep shortcuts and files from my home directory from appearing on my desktop, trying to install tint2, trying to re (HowTos)
