I tried different linux distro (Ubuntu 12.10 Gnome Remix, Fedora 18, Bridge Linux) on my new laptop but all of them have a problem with memory.
My laptop has 4 GB memory but Ubuntu recognize only 2,4 GB.
Obviously both BIOS and Windows 8 recognize all 4GB.

I have Mythbuntu 12.04 working fine except for enabling the Intel HD graphics GPU. While tuning OTA channels both processors almost max out.
I have ubuntu 13.04 64 bits
I've tried a lot of things before posting here, but none have worked.
This is my problem: I tried to play TF2, but the colors were wrong (blue screen with some other colors dispersed, I could tell that game itself worked only graphics were messed up).
