Wubildr not Found + Prefix not set

http://askubuntu.com – I install Ubuntu 12.04 by using Wubi and then restarted my computer and an error message occur -wubildr not found -prefix not set It takes about 1 minute to reboot (Well what should I do?) (HowTos)

i use 2 os windows7 and ubuntu i addition use wubi please help

Hi. I've been trying to install Ubuntu via Wubi on my new Asus K55V laptop. The installation appears to complete fine without errors, but when I then reboot I get this boot screen error:

The arcane language here is Danish. The "status" code is "0xc0000098".

[wubi] prefix is npt set 1 year 14 weeks ago

I install ubuntu 11.10, using wubi. It asks to reboot. I reboot, than the message in bios: try hd(0,0) prefix is not set. Than it disappears and installation completes. After one more reboot. Again this message: "try hd(0,0) prefix is not set". And i enter ubuntu.

I installed ubuntu 12.04 LTS inside windows 7 using wubi, but in the operation system selection menu when i try ubuntu it displays:

Try (hd0,0): NTFS: No wubildr (even though it does exist in C:\wubildr)

Try (hd0,1): NTFS: (here it hangs, it cannot load grub)

When i choose windows in selection menu it boots normaly.

I realy do not understand what is the problem!!!

I was in Ubuntu freshly updated 12.?? (wubi install in windows 7) ubuntu froz...

Ubuntu crashes at login screen 36 weeks 2 days ago

I'm completely new to Linux and wanted to give it a try.

I installed Ubuntu using the windows installer. After rebooting the PC it automatically boots into Ubuntu and get the first time run screen and then the login screen. At first the cursor won't move, or just sometimes. After a minute or so it moves like it should but nothing else works.

Hi, I have been very happy with wubi 10.04 running alongside Windows (on two laptops running XP and 7, respectively).

Before finally moving to wubi 12.04 I'd like to run my old 10.04 together with the new version by using triple boot (XP /wubi 10.04 / wubi 12.04) or - on the other laptop (WIn7/ wubi 10.04 / wubi 12.04).

How can I do that?

I was install ubuntu 12.o4 using wubi in the partion of windows 7 not in the section of mac os.After i finished and reboot my computer i got that choice as normal :1-Mac Hd 2-Windows 3-Mac Recovery then i select windows to get the next choice which is 1-Windows 2-Ubuntu When i select to run ubuntu before its booting i got this message appear for just about 5 seconds or less :

Try (hd0.3

I just tried to install ubuntu using wubi (12.04.01). I restarted and I got that "no wubildr" stuff and then black screen and nothing happens. Please help!!!
