[wubi] Wubi broken after hard boot, and update. What is the culprit?

(wubi install in windows 7) ubuntu froz... i hard booted and now at start up if i select ubuntu i get : Try (hd0,0) : NTFS5; No wubildr Try (hd0,1) : NTFS5: error: "prefix" is not set. then I am dumped into grub prompt. I did chkdsk /r from windows didnt find anything but an error in an old video file. and windows has done a clean shut down. same errors occur In windows both my root.disk and root.swap files are in the ubuntu\disks\ dir. one thing i notice is that Ubuntu\disks\boot\grub\ is completely empty including hidd (Hardware)

I had downloaded and installed wubi about a month ago, dual booting with windows 7 pro and everything was working fine, until about an hour ago when windows 7 started running chkdsk on boot while I had walked away. I came back to find it about 70% done just going to town with "deleting <enter file name here>".

I get this messasge once I have installed wubi-installer.org and downloaded and let the windows 7 installer install the program.

I then have to select for the machine to restart then .

As my machine come up I get the dual boot ino and select Ubuntu then the next screen I get is a Black Screen with the following:

Try (hd0,0): NTFS5: No wubildr Try (hd0,1): NTFS5:

I then have to CTL ALT DEL an

I was install ubuntu 12.o4 using wubi in the partion of windows 7 not in the section of mac os.After i finished and reboot my computer i got that choice as normal :1-Mac Hd 2-Windows 3-Mac Recovery then i select windows to get the next choice which is 1-Windows 2-Ubuntu When i select to run ubuntu before its booting i got this message appear for just about 5 seconds or less :

Having installed Ubuntu 10.04.1 by wubi from XP I cant boot to start Ubuntu. The install app let me 2 options in windows loader. 1.- Windows Xp Professional. and 2.- Ubuntu. If I acces the frist option I get access to Windows Xp correctly but if select 2.

I'm trying to dual boot ubuntu 12.10 alongside windows 8. I tried to use wubi windows installer to install ubuntu. Now when I restart my laptop it reports some problem with "File: \ubuntu\winboot\wubildr.mbr". However i'm still able to login to windows 8 but not ubuntu.

I really need help now, as I have a project for work stuck on an inaccessible Wubi Ubuntu install.

I currently have (had) Wubi installed alongside Windows 7 on my laptop.

I was finished using Ubuntu so I restarted back into Windows and went to do something while it restarted.

Boot windows from grub 30 weeks 2 days ago

I had Windows 7 and Ubuntu on my hard disk. I had installed Ubuntu using Wubi. To uninstall Ubuntu I deleted the Ubuntu partitions from Windows 7 Disk Management. When I re-boot my computer it shows grub rescue>. What do I need to do to re-gain access to Windows? I do not have a Windows 7 DVD. Commands like rootnoverify, chainloader do not work in grub rescue. I get an unknown command error.
