Hi, Can someone please help me restore my appearance and theme to its original settings. I made it look like a mac but now I don't want to. So I tried changing it to the original look but the buttons feature (close, minimize, maximize) still look like a mac. It looks like this:

i just installed the jon severinsson ffmpeg ppa, and i cant watch any video i get audio only, i get a need "extra plugins needed install?"and then "packeged dependencies could no be resolved"here are the screenees, any help?

So, I am still new to linux, I always go back to mess with it more. So I am learning the more I mess.

Well...now I am having driver problems. Firstly, I can't get ATI drivers to work, since it tells me I have nothing that is supported. (I have an ATI Raedon x1600 series.)

So I tried that mesa dri-drivers. Installed fine (after removing the ATI)

Hello, I've been reading post all over the place here and decided to get me an LG Spirit, but it seems like, somehow I have bricked my phone :( (I think I removed Yahoo Sportacular before I got bricked).

Hi guys, today I was bored and decided to celebrate how awesome Fedora is by making an awesome background for Fedora. The picture is 1440*900 and I did it in about 30 Minutes in GIMP. All of it is self made except for the Fedora Logo and Fedora text which I got from the logo in the wiki. Let me know what you think.

A while back I lost a hard drive (didn't back it up) containing pictures and videos of my little ones. thought they were lost for ever until my wife showed me her photobucket had a lot of them. I'd like to pull those down (and back them up this time). I'd like to use wget but it requires a login with password. I've tried the following with no success:

I have been through now three installs of Windows 7 in VirtualBox, and every single one of them has crashed on me, giving me the 'VirtualBox - Guru Meditation Window' which talks about the "critical error that has occurred while running the virtual machine and the machine execution has been stopped" windows 7 bluescreens on me.

Ok so i installed ubuntu 12.04 on my hp pavilion dv5000 cpu amd turion64. I start by installing the wifi drivers and i get this black screen with some codes (im sorry for my lack of technical words) here is a pic of the screen i get.
