wpa_supplicant won't connect to WPA

http://askubuntu.com – This question will probably be moot, since I'll only be here one more day. However, I'm having issues with wpa_supplicant not actually connecting to the network. I have /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf that contains these lines: ctrl_interface=/var/run/wpa_supplicant ctrl_interface_group=1002 # a group I belong to. ap_scan=1 network={ ssid="mynetwork" psk="myfakepassword" scan_ssid=1 key_mgt=WPA-PSK priority=5 } When I fire up wpa_supplicant it continually tries connecting, failing, and retrying. It will find the access point, try to associat (HowTos)
