Apple has lost an appeal against a ruling in a U.K. High Court that Samsung’s Galaxy Tab does not infringe the iPad’s design. The original ruling by Judge Colin Birss said Samsung’s tablets were not cool enough to be confused with Apple’s because they lacked the “extreme simplicity” of the iPad.
Let’s face it, we all love reading those “feel-good” internet stories, right? Samsung has given us just that by giving one lucky fan a free customized Samsung Galaxy S III. It all all started when a 26 year old man by the name of Shane left a short but cute comment on Samsung’s Facebook page.
The Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G has finally been confirmed and is on its way. Yes we’d already seen a hint here and another one there, but hey— we love seeing our confirmations, right kids? T-Mobile has confirmed the smartphone will land in its stores in March for a mere $150 on-contract. Moreover, the phone comes fully-loaded too folks.
Demonstrated in the video, see link below, by Terrence Eden, it's possible to use Google Play to download an app to disable the locked screen and fully access the phone.According to Terrence, this problem is confirmed on the Galaxy Note II, possibly the Galaxy S III and potentially on other TouchWiz UI Samsung Android phones.

We previously reported that some Samsung Galaxy Note II’s didn’t have the advertised multi-window support, but an update that is rolling out today will fix that. This will allow Galaxy Note II owners to split the 5.5″ screen in half and run two android apps at the same time. The original Galaxy Note had a similar feature, but it was limited to only Samsung apps.
Back in July, we reported that we should all expect Android 4.1 Jelly Bean to hit the Samsung Galaxy S III sometime in Q4. It looks like Samsung is very well on that track as a leaked version of a TouchWiz based Jelly Bean ROM (XADLG4) has been spotted running on a Galaxy S III (i9300).
I have Galaxy Tab 7.7 and I want to change those Samsung TouchWiz Mini Apps Tray (the icons which can be popped from the bottom of the screen). It seems they are predefined.
Can it be done?
(On a personal note - I have Gingerbread on my Galaxy Note and it provides much nicer UX experience than Honeycomb with TouchWiz - what a load of b0llox!
Every popular phone these days eventually sees a Chinese-made knock-off arrive sooner or later, and the Samsung Galaxy S III is no exception.
Presenting the HDC Galaxy S3, which on the outside doesn’t really even look that bad.
We know that Sprint has certain Samsung 4G LTE smartphone on the way, but details have been scarce until now. Thanks to our friends at Android Central, we now know the specs of the Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE smartphone– and it certainly is a modest little mid-range device too.
