Still having this problem and can't find my old thread.
Stock rom, 2.3.4
1.45GB free space on SD card
Camera works just fine, only having problems with the camcorder. With the camcorder set at low (30m) and MMS (low, 30s), the camcorder will record video. With it set to High (30m) and YouTube (High, 10m), the camcorder will not record video.
I recently purchased a HTC Desire. I tried to use the camcorder today but could not. I re-formated the SD card and set my phone back to the factory settings but neither action worked. What happens is that when I open the camcorder app, it comes up but when I press the optical button nothing happens. I can still take pictures.
Hi All :)
I'm sure I'm not the only one whom having problems with MiniCM7 2.2.1 ROM camera (& camcorder)
At least in my phone, I have issue like:
- autofocus is too short --> photos are blured, over exposure led flash
- no auto adjust exposure of camcorder when you shot from dark to bright area or vice versa
- on camcorder mode if led is turned on, it will turned off if you tap the record b
I'm an s5 user who recently updated my phone to the most recent version. I used to be able to have music playing and use the camcorder to record video with the music playing simultaneously, especially for snapchat. Now when I do it the music still plays however the device doesn't pick the audio, and seems to cancel out any other noise, if using the camcorder alone it picks up outside sound.
First, to avoid misunderstanding, the camcorder (Sony DVR-PC6E) is detected by Ubuntu (12.04) and operates smoothly via dvgrab from the terminal. It also is recognised immediately in Kino, which captures normally. But in Kdenlive, which I prefer to use, it connects momentarily, then immediately disconnects, without creating a preview.
I connected a Sony HandyCam to my laptop running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, and when I tried to access the videos on the camcorder, I got the following error message:
failed to mount Sony Camcorder
I would like to download these videos to my computer, and burn them to a DVD
It seems the metering on camcorder is preset to matrix and can't be changed. I often find it too bright and doesn't always adjust properly unless I zoom right in. How can I make the metering centre-weighted on camcorder? Is there an app or mod to make it possible?
