So I was bored today...so I decided to bring you guys a new ROM. I've always had a problem of switching between AOKP, ParanoidAndroid, and CM10, so I decided to port over PAC-Man ROM to the Verizon Galaxy S3..
I know, many people here want to have Android 4.x.x on their phones, but unfortunately, because of low-end processor as well as less RAM, these CM10/CM10.1 ROMs are laggy and slow. I am also one of them, but, after using these type of roms since 4 months, I have now got a perfect idea of using them. So, I am sharing the way I use these roms.
There is a flurry of competing CM10 roms all of a sudden
I am using JCSULLINS 0304, and see that there is SGA, Sickle and Shumash in addition to AOKP and so forth
I ran the Antutu Benchmark on the CM9 nightly OC 1.7 mhz and got 5100
The CM10 JCSullins managed only 4400 at the same overclock
I dont know that this is a big difference.
Verizon’s locked bootloader on their Galaxy S III hasn’t stopped development at all to this point. Two unofficial ports of AOKP and CyanogenMod 10 popped up, with each either being as close to fully working as can be or with a couple of minor bugs that are currently being worked on.
AOKP Milestone 6 appears to be ready for release and a daily driver without any known bugs so far.
Right now I'm on cm10 that I got from phantonphreaks xda forum.
I hear that the AOKP cm10 might be better.
Anybody tried both and have an opinion on the matter?
Personally, I can't decide between CyanogenMod or AOKP. CM is very stable (even the CM nightlies are more stable than any of the experimental versions of other ROMs), but AOKP offers more customization for the price of increased instability, though almost nonexistent.
Hi to all people out here, my problem is when I flash AOKP roms I can't connect my Wi-Fi, I recently tried CM10,paranoid android, but when I flash AOSP roms like, wanamlite, omega, Xperianze my Wi-Fi works perfectly hope you can help me with this problem

Is there a way to get photosphere on the camera app on the Galaxy S3(d2tmo) running 4.2.2? I installed a custom rom (have tried aokp and cm10.1), but I don't see photosphere in the camera options.
also, I only see 3G and G signals, no 4G, H, H+, or E signal icons on both aokp and cm10.1 but on 4.1 based roms I saw H, H+, and E. Thanks
