I have a USB wireless adapter D-Link DWA-131.
I also have backtrack 5R1 on Vmware.
I installed the driver on the system, and here are some outputs:

Ok i got Fedora 11 installed on my Dell studio 1737 laptop. everything is working great except my wireless card. i have a Dell Wireless 1397, 1510 Half MiniCard and also have the windows driver if needed.
Using another post about wifi, came up with a little more info:
ran /sbin/lspci -nn | grep -i -e network -e wireless:
I bought the yoga 13, and have the same issue with other penguins using this machine.
(Wireless card Realtek RTL8723AE-BT is not recognized)
I'm or 13.04 hoping the drivers have made it to the kernel.
I would love to get the internal wifi card functioning.
(Also the backlight on the screen doesn't seem to be coming on after a suspend)

I'm trying to connect to my WPA2 network using an external Belkin G plus MIMO (ver. Nr. 4000) under Ubuntu 11.10. I'm hot having an any luck. The device seems to crash either immediately upon bootup or after approx. 30 seconds of holding the connection. The same device works falwlessly under Windows 7 on the same computer.

I recently upgraded my ubuntu server from 10.04 to 12.04. I am trying to use my TL-WN723N V2 wireless USB Adapter. I have added rtl8192cu driver module to /etc/modules so that it can be loaded at boot time. But I am stuck at the basic issue (it seems).
