I got a Samsung SG3 phone and a Samsung SmartTV at home (UE55ES8080).
Devices are all set up in my home network via WiFi Router. Upnp is activated as well. AllShare Play and AllShare Control apps work fine.
I'm looking for a dlna adapter for a Samsung le40m86bd tv (not a smarttv or anything) so that I can send movies from my tablet to watch on the big screen. Does anybody have a recommendation of a cheap product to use, I don't want anything fancy, just the ability to use the dlna service.

My phone has been running Stock 4.3 since it went out. Fact is that I always used Screen Mirroring feature with no problems over that version, but yesterday I updated my Galaxy S3 i9305 to the latest firmware, 4.4.4. Now, don't know why my phone can't connect to my SmartTV as well as it always did.
Was very excited with my new Galaxy S5 purchase to get home and link with my Samsung SmartTV, however, I can't find the "Samsung Link" app anywhere on my phone. No luck in Play Store and no luck in Samsung Apps... Finally when searching through internet and opening Play Store from browser, it said "Samsung Link" app was not compatible with my device?? Am I crazy or WTH gives?
I accidentally checked the box where it turns off power saving mode whenever screen mirroring is turned on, and since I use my phone to connect to my SmartTV everyday to listen to music. It gets rather annoying forgetting to turn it back on. Does anyone know how to to restore it back to so that it doesn't turn off power saving mode?
Just a week or so ago, while we were watching TV that I had this new symbol on my pics in My Gallery in my Galaxy s3. I hit it and lo and behold the image showed on my TV instantly! I hadn't known it was there.
