http://www.ubuntux.org – Hi chaps forgive my impatience but having posted a previous request for help and received none thought i would post again, running Koala ubuntu 10.0 everything works great except my wireless connection, have only managed to make the connection once after numerous attempts of entering my password, router shown in network manager but connection fails any advice/help would be appreciated thanks (Distributions)

I am connecting to the Internet through a Zyxel prestige 600 wireless router from my Acer Aspire One which is running Fedora 10.

I'm using an Acer Aspire 7520, with a AR242x / AR542x Wireless Network Adapter with a clean install of 12.04 from disk.

On bootup my wireless connection works automatically, for a while. Then after about 10/20 minutes of use, the connection drops, and when it attempts to reconnect it repeatedly asks me for the wireless password.

I have a wireless router running wpa2 which is being used fine by a variety of devices. I have tried 2 machines now running ubuntu 12 (and tried another simmilar distro) and I can't connect. Wired connection is fine.

My computer sees the wireless network at home, ChinaNet-zbgJ. The dsl router is brand new, they just changed things to make it faster. I have the password, it is written on the router.

But i dont know how to make it work wirelesss under fedora linux 12...i mean how should i setup the connection to the router so i will be able to have a wireless connection?

Hello all, trying to access my NAS but having trouble. In my PC I have a USB wireless network adaptor connection to my router, and I have the NAS connected via the ethernet port in the same PC. I assumed it would be a simple case of connecting the NAS, running ifconfig to find the IP address of the NAS and connecting via web browser.

have a DSL modem setup with 192.168.1.1 local IP. Everything working fine. Then have a linksys wireless router that I have connected to the DSL modem. I have enabled DHCP on the wireless router, and have assigned 192.168.107.1 IP address to this router, with 255.255.255.0 as the mask.

Hi. This is an old problem for me, but apparently insolveable. Thought I'd try again, maybe someone here can help.

I cannot use the wireless internet connection in my house. My computer sees the connection. It is ChinaNet-zbgJ. The password is xutuhamh

The router is brand new, installed yesterday. The internet provider upgraded me and made the connection a bit faster.
