I have a hp dv6-7014nr and I just installed ubuntu on it and after some trouble I have my wireless working for the most part. The one last problem I have is that wireless N still is not working, I can only access G networks.
My wireless card is the BCM4313 broadcom wireless adapter.I am using the "bcmwl-kernel-source" driver.

Im on a desktop computer on a dual boot configuration (XP and Ubuntu 12.04) and purchased a USB Dlink DWA 121 wireless adapter. It was working on Ubuntu, but stopped working all together. As a matter of fact I dont even see the option now enable/disable wireless networks or connect to wireless networks in the top right corner.
I have an Acer Aspire 3690 laptop who's ethernet adapter is not working due to IRQ conflict with the mouse (that's what is reported during startup....press F1 to continue or F2 to setup). I tried to change settings in setup but there is not much other than boot menu that can be changed and could solve the problem.

I am using Xubuntu distribution, and just installed the SMCWUSB-N2 wireless adapter in a Compaq desktop (around year 2000). The adapter is recognised and starts working fine with the "default" (built-in) Xubuntu driver, but after 2 to 4 minutes, the adapter shuts down and internet connection is lost.

Hi I have a machine with broadcom 4365 wirless card. It was working with the dell installed ubuntu 11.10 on my inspiron 15R (5520) Laptop.
