I've installed Wine 1.4 on Ubuntu 12.04. I downloaded Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. The uploader repacked it so that its an .exe application instead of an installed program. When I double click on the .exe, the screen narrows and starts flashing black and white. When the game finally loads, the menus are black and white and show nothing but a black box as the cursor. Hi!
I have problems with play Spore. I installed perfectly Spore over both wine arch versions, i686 and x86_64 but issue yet persist. When I run Spore, I cannot see any picture, but sounds and cursor game works fine.
When I tried to run winetricks, nothing happened. Tried to run winecfg in terminal, got a message "wine: virtual memory exhausted". Needless to say, I can't run any programs with Wine.
