WINE 1.3.27 segfaults

https://bbs.archlinux.org – I had a nice working setup of Steam and some steam games (civ4 and team fortress 2 mainly), used them about a week ago. After pulling up wine 1.3.27 with the usual upgrades, wine now keeps on segfaulting:kjozsa@walrus:~/.wine/drive_c/Steam$ wine Steam.exe fixme:process:SetProcessShutdownParameters (00000100, 00000000): partial stub. Segmentation faultI've moved away my ~/.wine and did a fresh install of Steam with the exact same results, not even the Steam window can be brought up (notepad and explore.exe works correctly though). Any ideas what could go wrong or how to get more details a (HowTos)

Hey guys, I'm fairly new here so bare with me. I'm also going to post this on the Wine boards but i figured I'd see if I could get a response out of Fedora folks first :)

So I've successfully got a stable Wine 1.5.8 running, which is happily running steam with no problems whatsoever.

Hello, I have recently installed Ubuntu 12.10. With about an hour or so i finally got the Steam Linux beta up and running, and i even got to play a few games.

But im wondering if its possible to install the Windows only games using Wine on the native version of steam, instead of installing another steam through Wine.

I would greatly appreciate some help. :confused:

Is there any way to move Steam and all of my Steam games to another hard drive without having to re-installing everything? I would prefer to keep Wine on the original drive, if possible. I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 and the most recent stable release of Wine.

Hello trying to get steam up and running on my system..This is the process i went through..

There is a Easy way to get steam for Linux Without beta access (No, Not using WINE)

From Terminal:

wget http://media.steampowered.com/client...ller/steam.deb sudo dpkg -i steam.deb && sudo apt-get install -f

Then From Unity Dash Do:

Launch Steam App Login to Steam Lock To Launcher You will get a message saying you aren’t in Beta close this.

Right Click Launcher Icon And

So I downloaded steam on PlayOnLinux and I installed some random games and they open but I can't do anything with them I can move the mouse around and the menu buttons change, but I can't actually click anything. The games I tried it on were Castle Crashers, Deus Ex: HR, and Super Meat Boy and they all did the same thing.

I'm on Arch Linux 64 bits running Steam on a 32 bits Wine and whenever Steam opens a popup, it starts gliding towards the lower right corner, only stopping when I hover it with my mouse and disappearing when I take my mouse off of it.
