[Windows] Win7 won't boot (even after reformat), but Ubuntu works fine (after repairing Grub2)

http://ubuntuforums.org – I'm completely stumped over this since I don't really know how GNU GRUB or MBR work and have relatively limited knowledge of partitions. I need some help on getting Windows 7 to simply boot. Anyway, I have one 120GB hard drive. I kept a 110GB partition for Windows 7, and the remaining 10GB I've used as a separate partition (or two if you include the swap) for trying all sorts of derivatives of Ubuntu and Debian. At some point today, Windows 7 just all of a sudden would refuse to boot if I select it from the GRUB menu. Here's a clearer description of the boot process: After POST, it g (Hardware)
