Windows Server 2008 BitLocker

I have a ThinkPad running Windows 7 Enterprise with a BitLocker encrypted drive. I would like to clone or somehow convert this physical machine into a virtual machine that I can with either VMWare Fusion 5 or Parallels Desktop 8 on OS X.

Is this even possible given the BitLocker encryption?

My windows pc has bitlocker enabled on drive C but i want to install wubi on the same drive, can i do it by suspending/disabling bitlocker when i need to run ubuntu?

We are running a new Windows 2008 R2 Server on Dell PowerEdge R620 Hardware.

I am trying to enable BitLocker Encryption on the C Drive, I have already enabled the TPM from the BIOS.

During the phase where it checks your computers configuration, we get an error that says

"BitLocker Setup requires the drive file system to be NTFS. Convert the file system and run BitLocker Setup again.

I have set up a new Windows Server 2008 R2 domain controller, and have attempted to configure the Default Domain Policy to permit all types of passwords.

Can Ubuntu make use of self encrypting HDD and SSD drives when using full disk encryption during installation?

I have an Opal SSD, which supports self encrypting (so it doesn't depend on CPU power). It works nicely with Windows 8's Bitlocker; however, it'd nice if I could make use of it under Ubuntu as well.

I am unable to promote my newly installed Windows Server 2012 machine to a domain controller. Joining the domain as a server that is a member of the domain worked fine.

It's been a while since last running any Ubuntu Linux disk encryption benchmarks, but thanks to recent encryption improvements within the upstream Linux ecosystem, it's time to deliver some new Linux disk encryption benchmarks.
