Windows 2008 R2 : Admin Account Expired

Im kinda new to network administration. I was asked to change the password on our SQL Server. The only account that is used to log in is the Administrator account.

I did a dumb thing and reset it through Ctrl+Alt+Delete > "Change Password". The admin password got reset for the whole domain.

I am using Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.2.

Account information (id/password) that is used for registration at System -> Administration -> RHN Registration was expired. Does anyone know that I have to register for a new account or I can update the expired account and use it again?

Just as the title says. Why am I required to input my user password to launch this program? I am using 10.04 Ubuntu and this requirement does kind of annoy me.

I like making a second account that can admin the system, and my main account has the admin option disabled in the 'Users & Groups'.

I have windows Vista on my HP laptop. The user administrator and standard accounts have always acted wierd.

Im not 100% sure what has happened, but my ISPConfig username/password [Admin account] no longer works due to wrong username/password combination, and when I try to 'recover' it via e-mail, it doesnt send (im assuming because Ive changed my STMP/IMAP config after installing ISPConfig)..

anywho: is there a way to completely 'reset' the ispconfig admin account?

I am using ubuntu11.10 64 bit version . while checking the user account i have changed my admin user as an standard user. As aresult there is no more admin user. and here the problem begins . whereever authentication is needed it is asking for admin password .

I created an account "diag" and set it as expired (usermod --expiredate 1).

I have a FTP user id to a remote server, the password for which has expired.The account is getting locked if connection is being made in FTP mode to the server with the old(expired) password. Is this possible?

I'm struggling to get to grips with passwords. I've reinstalled twice to try to sort it but still have problems. I've learnt not to try to get rid of passwords. The current problem is that when I created an additional account (a standard one) it didn't ask me to create a password, so I didn't. I clicked to log on automatically.
