I'm trying to figure out how to enable Global Roaming. I enabling roaming on my phone and my service plan gives free roaming as part of the package. However, I don't think it's working on my phone. I find that I'm in alot of areas where I won't have signal and my friend with his galaxy s2 with T-Mobile will have signal.

Look at the pic and sumone please explain this to me I googled it and all I found was that using global gives you better connection by using all antennas in the phone and just keep the roam off so switch to global and keep roaming disabled to not get over charges but is it worth it

I don't care about roaming charges because I have free roaming, but is there a way to stop the roaming icon and warning from coming up in my notification bar? It seems like all day every day I'm constantly getting rid of it and it says to change my roaming settings but no matter what I change them to, it still comes up?
