I have brought my new Xperia Z1 (C6902) and I want to know about rooting it
Let's me ask :)
1. If I want to root my Z1 only and I won't need to install any custom rom, Do I need to unlocking the bootloader after rooting it?
2. If I only want to install an officially stock rom, Do I need to unlocking the bootloader?
i searched alot but i dident find any way to root my tegra 3 hox without unlocking the bootloader (and losing the warranty) so can you tell me once and for all if its possible and if someone developed a way to do it?
i really want to root my hox to use some new apps which requires root but i dont want to change my ROM and lose my warranty XD
hope you can help me, tnx in advance :)
I have a galaxy s4 from AT&T with knox on it. And I just want to root(no custom roms) but if my phone breaks or something I don't want to void my warranty because it's rooted. So is my warranty voided automatically with root or is it voided only if the root is the cause of the problem. Also if you have experience with Samsung warranty and rooting please share your story.
I'm going to buy the n4 and I would like to unlock the bootloader and root it. Since I won't flash a new rom at the beginning, I don't know if I should root it, just because of the warranty. Will it be void if I unlock the bootloader?

My question is whats best, root with unlocking of bootloader or rooting with locked bl.
Are there problems occuring when unlocking the bootloader like camera malfunction?
I really would like to know it.
