http://www.linuxinsider.com – Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Note, which sports a 5.3-inch screen -- a size that places it between a typical smartphone and a tablet. It features an HD Super AMOLED display with a 180-degree viewing angle. The device comes with a slide-out stylus called the "S Pen" and sports an 8-MP rear camera and a 2-MP front camera for video chat. The unit is powered by a 1.4 GHz dual core processor and runs the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. The Note's overall dimensions clock in at 110mm x 58.2mm x 12.3mm. A few weeks ago, Samsung released the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, which of course is a 7-inch Android tablet. Today marks the release of the 10.1-inch version of that same tablet. Other than the display size, resolution, and storage capacity, the only other difference is the placement of the speakers.

Samsung will ship its new stylus-equipped 10.1-inch Galaxy Note tablet this month, arming the unit with a 1.4GHz quad core processor, 2GB of RAM, WXGA 1280 x 800 pixel LCD display, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a secondary 1.9 megapixel camera and Google’s (NSDQ: GOOG) Android 4.0. Is that the right horsepower for channel partners promoting mobile devices to their customers?

Sprint’s version of the Samsung Galaxy Note II is now on sale for $299 with a new two-year contract. Like it’s other US brethren, the device sports a 5.5-inch 1,280 x 720 HD Super AMOLED display, 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos processor, 8-megapixel rear camera atop Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Color choices include Marble White and Titanium Grey.

About a year and half ago a Samsung Galaxy Q surfaced, but at that time it was a lower-end QWERTY phone. Fast forward to now and it features a foldable dual Super AMOLED HD (1920 x 1080) display.

  Samsung is no stranger to dual-SIM devices and there is now another device on the way. We previously told you about the Samsung Galaxy S Duos that leaked late last month, but now Sammy has made the ICS-powered device officially official with its formal announcement.

Well guys, it’s now October 24th and you know what that means? T-Mobile is now the first American carrier to release Samsung’s next powerhouse in the Galaxy Note 2. You can order the device online for a hefty price of $369.99 on a new 2-year agreement.
