Based on leaked documents published on Tuesday, phone enthusiasts are buzzing over prospects that what's rumored to be Verizon's next big phone will live up to its name and more. Various Web sites published what were purported to be manuals and spec sheets for the new phone. They indicate that the Incredible will share many similarities with Google's well-received -- but lightly bought -- Nexus One, including its 1 Ghz Snapdragon processor and 3.7-inch OLED capacitive screen. HTC and Verizon Wireless today announced the Droid Incredible smartphone, which will be available for pre-order beginning on Apr. 19, with the official release on Apr. 29. The Android 2.1-based Droid Incredible offers a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 8GB of internal memory, an eight-megapixel camera, and a 3.7-inch, 800 x 480 AMOLED display, say the companies....

Last week we saw a leaked Verizon roadmap that listed the DROID Incredible X, which will sport a 5-inch 1080p display as well as the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus. The latest news out of GSMArena is that an anonymous tipster claims that the same device will also be a Google Nexus device, called the Nexus 5.

Our friends at Phone Arena received the latest Verizon roadmap and it shows some interesting stuff. Now we already know about the upcoming HTC phone sporting a 5-inch display and rocking a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor, but this roadmap reveals how they will market it. It looks like it will be called the DROID Incredible X as opposed the the HTC One X 5.

Verizon Wireless announced two new Android 2.2 phones, led by HTC's four-inch, global-roaming Droid Incredible 2 phone, which features dual cameras, including an eight-megapixel model. The ruggedized Casio G'zOne Commando, meanwhile, offers a 3.6-inch WVGA display, a five-megapixel camera, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS, as well as special field-ready apps linked to the phone's sensors....

Looks like another HTC phone is getting some love from the Android development community. We previously saw a leaked ICS build for the HTC Thunderbolt, and now you can get your hands on a Sense-filled version of ICS for the Droid Incredible 2.

Specs have leaked for several high-end 1GHz Snapdragon-based Android smartphones, including the AMOLED-enabled HTC Incredible, which is set for an April 29 Verizon launch, reports say. LG is also riding the Snapdragon with its upcoming, QWERTY-enabled Aloha C710, which appears similar to a tipped LG Eclipse LU2300 Android phone....

The elusive Droid Incredible X has been making the rounds over the past few months, and with the recent announcement of the HTC J Butterfly for Japan, it looks as though we could potentially be seeing a variant of the 5-inch smartphone make its way to the US.

Well, it’s finally official. Verizon just confirmed the rumors that the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE will launch on all channels July 5th. According to the official press release, the Incredible 4G LTE will run $150 on contract after a $50 mail-in rebate.
