Who doesn't like some eyecandy for their desktops, definitely not me. Compiz has enthralled Ubuntu users for years now. When GNOME officially ditched Compiz for Mutter for its next version, Ubuntu decided to stick with Compiz for its Unity Shell.
I decided I wanted to try compiz for a highly customizable window manager with advanced compositing (over Openbox with Compton which I have so far used, any recommendations are of course welcome)I noticed on the wiki that there are installation instructions for compiz 8.9 and compiz 9.x, and I noticed that 9.x seems to have most of the plugins and utilities all merged together into one neat little
Differents from former fedora packages:
-- verion is stable 0.8.8
-- gtk-windows-decorator is droped
because all windows-manager which i can use as base for gwd (metacity, marco)
are ported to gesettings, in result gwd doesn't work correctly.
So, emerald is the default and only windows-decorator.
