http://androidforums.com – My friend brought her phone to me, she was in tears. She tells me she wanted to change it from Virgin Mobile to Verizon Wireless. She has gotten it unlocked, but when she tried to use her recovery it just gets black screen, first you see 2 green arrows going in a circle with white exclamation point, then you see a phone with the with red triangle & exclamation point on the black screen. Can anyone help use please? I had told her what a big help this site was for me in fixing a phone that I was given that was soft bricked. So we thought we ask. Hello guys, I've had my Droid DNA since Christmas. About 5 minutes ago I was updating Facebook on my phone then the screen went black, it was completely frozen. I held the power button and vol down button till I hit the recovery screen. On the top in pink it says locked. When I go to recovery, it loads then I get a big red triangle with a red exclamation mark on it.

hi iam new in making some changes on my phone. i tried to root my phone.. i succesfully unlocked the bootloader. but when i try to run the recovery mode, it stop on an icon which is a red triangle with an exclamation point in the center.. what does it mean.. and by the way it is stocked on that screen..

Okay, so I'm in a bit of a bind. I'm S-OFF, and I tried updating to the global leak and it seems I've lost boot and recovery. Everytime I boot it goes through the splash screen and then a black screen with the phone and green update symbol, then it turns to a red triangle and exclamation mark. any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm fairly experienced and everything i've tried has failed.

I'm hoping someone can help me with this.

I tried getting the HTC update manually through the settings menu. The file was downloaded. Then the screen showed it was installing, until it ended up on a screen with a red exclamation point in a triangle. I left it on that screen until it restarted itself. The white HTC screen comes up, then the red Droid circle thing and the animation stops.

guys i wonder what does this mean.. my phone is showing a phone with an arrow pointing to it and there is a triangle with a exclamation point.. what is this.. before i got to this.. i download walkman by TK (donwloaded using dolphin browser) and in the notification i press it and it says open with Rom manager to boot into recovery and proceed with the installation.. i press OK..

I'm not new to these forums, but this is the first time I'm posting anything. I wanted to get rid of the yellow triangle on my phone in case i needed to send it in for any warranty issues. I found the triangle away app and it was compatible with the i777. I was on shostock ics either 3.1.1 or 4.1.1, i don't remember but it worked, i restarted the phone and everything worked just fine.

Hello guys,

I went through the forum and couldn't find a solution, so I am hoping someone is able to advise me on this.

I rooted my One X and couldn't install OTA updates though I flashed stock recovery. After giving up hope, I relocked and reinstall RUU and redownload OTA through Settings. Selected "Install Now". Everything went fine, no more red triangle.

Hi Scotty, i hope you can help on this one, I have desire bravo whilst messing with it, ie; S-OFF, ROOTING and ROM etc, everything worked fine! Then a few days later i started having boot problems, i resorted to flashing hboot from Alpharev and also tried a couple of different stock RUU but to no avail!
