It started yesterday. Since then I've tried several backups on a couple different roms, same result. I can connect to my wifi, or at least the phone says I am connected, but no data transfers. I can switch to 3g and I get data normally. I switched to wifi, let it connect, and I get nothing but connection and server errors.
My wife's s4 on AT&T seems to want to use data even on wifi. Tonight at an event at the high school with the kids data usage skyrocketed for google+. She was taking photos and videos. However google+ is ONLY set to backup on wifi. Which she was connected to the entire time.
Hi... i need help. I have an AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 2. I can NOT connect to the internet unless i use WiFi. I have had the phone for about a month and it has been like this since i got it. I have been going back and forth with Straight Talk about it forever! They have done nothing to help me.
I am using a HTC One X+ with AT&T. I have been running on ELEGANCIA 3.1 since I got the phone. Everything was fine expect the WIFI/Mobile Data Connection. The symptoms are:
1. Sometimes WIFI turned itself on automatically even I manually turned it off.
2. I usually use WIFI at home.
It must be a dumb statement - a mobile that is connected to the internet via wifi cannot be a hot spot; only mobile connected with data connection can do it. Just want a confirmation from gurus for a peace of mind.
My office network blocks things like Pandora, Spotify, etc., so while most of the time I'd like to be connected to my office wifi, there are times when I'd rather use my data connection. Unfortunately, I can disconnect from the network until I'm blue in the face, and it just keeps reconnecting. Is there a setting somewhere that I can check that will allow me to control when it connects to wifi?
Do you want to know if someone is connected to your wireless network without your permission? Your connection is slow and you suspect that someone are stealing your wifi? Are you afraid that the neighbor may have access to your personal data?
