Guys, need some help. I am on AOPK JB ROM and Wifi Tether is supposed to work, et I am having troubles getting it to work on mine. I have used both the built in hot spot as well as Wifi Tether for Root. On the built in hot spot, it will work till the point of showing up on my tablet or other phones.
I have been struggling to resolve an issue that has been bugging me since i got my phone. I am trying to successfully tether 4g lte to my iPad at decent speeds. When i use my stock wifi tether, i get 0.14 mbps- 0.55mbps. When i use wireless tether for root users i can get about 1.0-2.5 max. When i tether my laptop, i can get up to 27 mbps.

After looking around i havent been able to find what i am looking for
Often i am without having metro service for the month
So i use wifi often.some of the spots i can go have weak wifi
One spot is so weak and touchy
Moving 6 inches losses connection and the connection is super slow
But i can put my phone in a spot and it gets huge download speed
But i cant actually use the phone wh
I have a question or two. I'm coming from the HTC Evo 4g and 3D. My 3D is set up with the pacmann 4.2.2 Jelly Bean rom and I love it, but no hot spot using sprint's hot spot or wifi tether. This doesn't work for me as I use the hot spot a lot so I use other roms when I need the hot spot, no big deal.
I believe my phone is rooted... & I was able to use my phone as a modem, using the wi-fi tether app, for a long time.. Then I didn't use it for months. I tried to use it today, but I don't think it's working any longer.
Are there any specific setting that I need to set, in order for it to work? Is there anything I need to look or check for, to make sure it's all good?
Now, when I say WiFi tether, I don't mean using my phone as a hotspot to let people use my data.
I want to be able to tether my wifi connection.

So I managed to install clockworkmod, and rooted by stock rom with superadmin. I installed Wifi Tether for root phones, it works perfectly. I ran across some issues though. There is something strange happening.
Hello all,
I'm running Harmonia 'light' that did not come with Wifi Tether pre-installed. I need to tether for a few hours on Friday. I work from home and we are getting Comcast installed in a two-hour window. Without connectivity I will have to take the time off, which I don't want to do.:D
I installed Wifi Tether but on connecting to my laptop I have 'limited connectivity'.
