Hey everybody,
So I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 (Sprint) running 4.1.1 on CyanogenMod, However this question pertains to multiple handsets across all of the carriers.
If you've ever tried to set up a VPN or other secure WiFi connection (802.1x) you'll notice that android then makes you secure your lock screen either via a PIN or a pattern lock.
My question is, is there a way to disable this
I am trying to use Widgetlocker as my lock screen on my HTC Evo 4G. I am using Android version 2.3.5.
Hi all,
Every time my lock screen activates, my wifi switches to 3g. I'd like my phone to stay connected to wifi when at home or at the office. My Sprint Optimizer is turned on, but for some reason when my phone is in sleep mode, it switches from wifi to 3g.
I am developing an aplication for android in c# (mono for android), i am using monodevelop IDE for this development. I have a requirement that is enable, or disable the internet connection (wifi, 3g/2g and any type of internet connection), through a button, but i can't do this.
thanks for yours answers.
We have a problem with a specific website which our staff need to access via Internet Explorer on our Citrix server (running Win2K3).
How do I upload items without WIFI..on my old Windows Phone WIFI was not required. I simply downloaded the Zune client to the PC and connected the cable. All uploads and downloads were automatic...can't seem to figure out if motocast is a similar utility.
I noticed today that when screen is locked with slide security you can still pull down status bar and unlock phone as well you can hit the menu button to unlock phone. If I put to face or pattern these options go away. Is there a way to lock status bar when in lockscreen? And more so lock menu button in lock screen so the phone doesn't open in my procket? I'm running Baked Bean ROM.
When the phone comes out of lock screen (ring pull and draw in lock pattern) there's usually (but not always) no Internet icon (H, 3G or G), and when I'm at home using Signal Boost on the WiFi, it doesn't always log in to the WiFi immediately.
I have no idea why this has happened, but for some reason on my Nexus 7 (do not have this issue on my Galaxy Nexus running CyanogenMod 10.1 Nightlies), when I try to interact with a widget on my lock screen, the widget goes to the background, and the lock turns white highlighted with a box around it (like it wants me to unlock the device first).
