http://forum.xda-developers.com – Hello friends is there any way to increase the WiFi connectivity?? I'm currently using Real ICS lite r4 and kernal panic. My friend uses the laptop's WiFi greatly all the time but my st15i can't even connect to the WiFi.. I thought laptops have high connectivity than mobile but his Samsung galaxy ace also connects to WiFi and he can browse with ease(though he can't download). The WiFi is common WiFi in our hostel campus, its security is open but we have to input the ip address manualy in order to connect. So is there any app for that? Or is there any tweaks? hello.

when i first my Samsung Galaxy Y S5360, i have no problems browsing via wifi, open nor password protected networks.

after i downloaded several apps, i can connect, but cannot browse, even at mcdonald's or other free wifi services.

kindly help.

p.s. my wife owns the same phone, and we have wifi at home. she can connect and browse, i can't.

So I'm currently running Xenon 1.5 (4.2.1) paired with Lean Kernel 5.6, but this is an issues I've had on all 4.2.1 ROMs that I've tried. It seems as though my phone doesn't want to stay connected to WiFi even though it has a strong connection.

Hey everyone, I am trying to connect my GS2 on ics to kies via wifi to transfer music. Ever since the update there is no option to connect to kies via wifi. Anyone have any clue as to how to get my phone to connect via wifi to kies?

I have a problem with the Boost Mobile Samsung Galaxy SII. I connect to any wifi hotspot without a problem but after an undetermined amount of time, the phone just stops receiving signal from the wifi connection. If I disconnect and re-connect the wifi works great again. It seems to go dead after the phone goes to sleep or in powersave mode. Is there any known fix for this problem?

At first I installed 32bit ubuntu 12.10 & struggled much setting the WiFi by help of so many answer here then I thought to install 64bit as my system is of 64bit. At the installation time itself I couldn't find any WiFi name listed & I connect through wire.
