Dear,
I have strange battery status. previously with gingerbread my battery life normally around 18hrs. After update official OTA to ICS my atrix2 only last 8hrs.
From battery battery information i found out my wifi keep active.
I've had the Nexus 4 for a week now and I've faced quite a few problems already:
1) My phone doesn't connect to the wifi network (even though the wifi info is saved) until I turn off wifi from the setting and turn it back on. I called up google support and they said that's how the manufacturer designed the phone so you will have to do this every time you move in to a new wifi zone.
When the battery of my laptop dies , you all know what happens next...When I plug it to AC and start, wifi is disabled and I can not enable it with laptop wifi button.I need to do another reboot to enable wifi (and get wifi laptop button working). There must be a setting which disables wifi on critical power and that is probably a good thing, but why my wifi remains disabled when on AC(still with al
I had a 3 month old S3 that was draining the battery really fast. I tried everything from a new battery, to flashing back to stock and installing absolutely zero apps. No matter what I tried, the phone was chewing through the battery, even when I wasn't touching it. I would go to bed, wake up, and the phone had lost 20-30% battery.Verizon sent me a replacement, and the same thing was happening.
So I've tried ctmod, MIUI, and Quattrimus ICS, all of which are amazing, but for some reason I have really insane battery drain even though I barely use my device. I'm pretty sure its the wifi, but I'm not sure why this doesn't happen on stock? How is it the same exact issue on 3 different roms? Battery drain occurs on clean installation, I just log into my google account.
Hey all,
So I'm currently running Xenon 1.5 (4.2.1) paired with Lean Kernel 5.6, but this is an issues I've had on all 4.2.1 ROMs that I've tried. It seems as though my phone doesn't want to stay connected to WiFi even though it has a strong connection.
1- What is the correct way to set this phone up for wifi? Here is my dilemma: I signed into starbucks wifi used it for a bit then left got in my car to drive.
If I flash CM10 as opposed to my stock android 4.1 jellybean, leaving all my brightness, wifi etc settings the same, will my battery life be extended? ie: is the drain while the phone is on lower?
I heard switching to CM10 over stock will basically for all users reduce drain thus increase battery life
My phone has been drying very quickly lately. I go to bed with it fully charged and wake up with a dead battery, my phone usually last days without being charged if I don't use it. I noticed earlier today that the wifi icon at the top keeps blinking. What could this mean? Does the blinking wifi icon have anything to do with my battery dying so quickly?
