I am new to Linux, I upgraded with from 11.10 to 12.04 and now my wifi doesn't work. When the wifi switch is turned on, the bluetooth works but not the wifi. I have a Dell XPS 15 L502x

I just installed Lollipop 5.0 with Odin. AFAIK there were no problems. But... WiFi refuses to turn on. Bluetooth works, 4G LTE works, but WiFi doesn't. But... if I run FoxFi (might as well see what happens), it does work. That is, I got a hotspot running (a surprise in itself), and was able to connect a Nexus 7 WiFi-only tablet to the hotspot.
Starting yesterday I've had wifi issues with it cutting out, today it just wouldn't connect. I read on a different thread that the bluetooth and wifi can interfere with each other. I've been using both since March with no problems.
