Wifi Hotspot to Gaming Adapter?

http://forum.xda-developers.com – Has anyone done this or is it even possible? I've tried using the Wifi tether app, Foxfi and Open Garden but no luck at all. I have a Trendnet gaming adapter N wireless. The wifi device does not connect to my phone no matter what I try to do, it shows on the PC setup showing my phone but no luck. Only Open Garden was able to detect it but no data was pass to the adapter. Im rooted running the Adreneline CM9 rom. I have no trouble connecting other devices to my phone as a Wifi Hotspot. Reasons for the adapter, have some devices that have slow wifi cards (PS3 is my main reason) so this should sp (HowTos)

help! I can't connect to wifi after logging in to WIfi Hotspot. after connecting to pc/laptop, the error message pops out "The network may no longer be in range". my phone is just 1 inch away from my laptop and I just install the HTC Sync. please help!!!I also installed Foxfi and wifi hotspot - wifi theter.

Just recently bought a Asus Nexus 7 and I find it an awesome device.

Unfortunately, I was surprised to see there is no option to turn my device into a wifi hotspot or to share my nexus internet through USB to other computers.

The tower has no wifi card and because of my living situation (landlord provides internet, but router is located in his apartment) I have to connect to the internet via wifi. Hello everyone, Im kinda new to all this

So i just decided to root my phone for the free wifi tethering to my laptop...I havent installed any custom rom just stock rooted with S-On(dont know if that matters).Ive used the Wifi tether app from the google market it connects but it takes me to the t mobile website asking me to add wifi tethering to my plan.

After searching the Web all weekend and not finding answers, I found a solution, that's working for me right now, to connect your P7510 to your wifi tether off your phone. The app I'm using is wifi tether v3.1-beta11, I just set device profile to auto, setup method to auto and boom my galaxy tab recognized and connected to my phone.

After root, s-off and running midnight ROM I can't use my wifi hotspot (I'm paying the extra $15) I can enable the hot spot but i cant connect any of my devices,, when I go to settings/ sprint hotspot settings I get the error "unfortunately, settings has stopped", I've tried Foxfi and the app that came with the ROM with no luck
