Hey all, after finally installing 11.3, I found that my wireless NIC had stopped working. I've spent about 4 hours trying various online tutorials to get the card working, but I'm still right where I was when I began.
The card as reported by lspci:
Code:
linux-lcag:~ # lspci -vnn | grep Broadcom
i have installed Ubuntu 12.10 on my Lenovo G550 laptop.
It has a Broadcom 4312 wireless lan adapter which is not working.
How do I fix it. How can I see what drivers are being used.
I just fixed my broken system, due to forcing glibc update. After that, Arch couldn't detect my wifi chip, so I decided to reinstall the driver again.$ lspci -vnn | grep 14e409:00.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Broadcom Corporation NetLink BCM5906M Fast Ethernet PCI Express [14e4:1713] (rev 02)0c:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM4311 802.11b/g WLAN [14e4:4311] (rev 01)Fir
I have a HP MINI 210-1010NR and just installed Ubuntu 11.04 and I can't get my wireless to work.I have checked through multiple Q&A's throughout this FAQ and tried them all.
Hi, I was hoping somebody could help me out with this.
My netbook came with a Dell 1397 WLAN mini-card, here's the chipset information:

I'm currently using the broadcom-sta driver, which kinda works.
Hi,I'm trying to make a fresh install with the latest install medium.
I have tried to make the wifi work on the newest version of MacbookPro retina (15") for the last 2 days but couldn't make it work. Your help would be much appreciated.
The stable version of OpenWRT (10.03.1) does not work on the LinkSys WRT54G3GV2-VF.
The WiFi doesn't work, there are various bugs on trac that say it's fixed in trunk.
However if you browse the download locations, there are two different files for this router with no explanation as to why:
For the unreleased stable version 12.09:
