Do the following to enable the firmware: Enable your laptops wired RJ45 connection to connect to the Internet. Once connected, update your system by running the following as root: yum update After update, run this as root: yum install iwl2030-firmware Reboot and you should now see your WiFi connection available on the top right of your desktop.
