Hi currently running cm9, I flashed another rom tried it out for a bit then decided to go back to cm9, restored back and suddenly my Wifi has stopped working, it detects my router but just won't connect I know my Wifi works because it worked on the rom that I flashed?? How can I get it working again? please help cheerz
Okay, so here i am using my touchpad on my personal wifi at home, and the school's wifi when i'm, you guessed it, at school. They both have passwords and they were working fine. Yesterday, i tried to log into my home network because for some reason it did not connect.
I recently purchased a SGS3 and ran the stock ROM for approx 30mins before flashing a CM10 nightly build (i9300 intl). Because of this I am unable to verify if the wifi was working on my home router prior to flashing a custom ROM.
At work I am able to connect to our wifi connection without problemson 2.4ghz or 5ghz.
I am having the weirdest problem... I have a work laptop (running Fedora 16) that has connected to my works wifi and ethernet without any problems. I have also connected to the wifi at my girlfriends place without problems. Right now I am at my place and at a total loss for words. I have connected to my home network via wifi and Ethernet... (obviously not both at once).
Ok, so this problem just started happening out of nowhere. I got my galaxy s3 about 2 weeks ago, and up until now everything has been working fine. I was using Google chrome and all of a sudden it stopped loading and said it couldn't connect to the server. Well I started opening up some of my apps and none of them could connect to the server.
I recently installed Xubuntu 12.04 on my Toshiba Satellite. To my dismay, I could not get a WiFi connection. I know the computer has WiFi, because it worked before. I can get a wired connection. I've even tried putting in a WiFi adapter and letting it connect over night. It still didn't work. It just keeps asking for my WiFi password. Why is this?
I'm new to Linux and just installed Ubuntu last night as a dual boot with Windows 7. When I first installed it using USB the WiFi worked. Then I figured out how to use the Software Updater and updated it, downloading about 200 MB of updates.
Then the WiFi stopped working. For the record, I've seen numerous threads about this same topic and have tried basically everything they have said to try.
It depends on the infrastructure you are trying to connect to. At home I use AT&T router with default configuration. Wifi is working just fine. At the Office we have comcast. The ubuntu can't connect to wifi.
