Help! My wifi use to connect fine for the first few months of having my phone, however now it just says "authentication problems" while trying to connect. I have for sure typed the password in correctly, i have tried forgetting the network and trying again, tried restarting my phone, tried resetting the rowder and nothing seems to be working, my other wireless devices connect fine
I'm am trying to create an ssl vpn connection (Password, no ca certificate) through openVPN using Network Manager. Creating the vpn is no problem but when I want to save it the save button is greyed and it says "Authenticate to save this connection for all users of this machine". I get no dialogue box for authentication and I cannot uncheck the "Available to all users" box.

The network utilises the following security:
802.1x EAP
EAP Method - TTLS
Phase 2 Authentication - PAP
To counter the issue I have installed the network's security CA certificate under settings manually however, this didn't resolve the issue.

In Windows, when connecting to the wifi network of out college, we are required to select PEAP authentication method on a 802.1x network.
And we are required to connect to wifi using a usernme such as: 123456@JIET.CO.IN and then enter a possword.
(Note : JIET.CO.IN here, is the network doamin)
Now, how am I supposed to do that in Ubuntu?
Okay, so here i am using my touchpad on my personal wifi at home, and the school's wifi when i'm, you guessed it, at school. They both have passwords and they were working fine. Yesterday, i tried to log into my home network because for some reason it did not connect.
I have a Samsung Galaxy W phone on which I have problems connecting to ONE specific wifi network. The phone is running Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread).
The wifi network in question is a shared connection on a Windows 7 64-bit computer. This worked nicely for a while, until I suddenly managed to select "forget network" on the phone by mistake.
I've been looking everywhere for answers with no such luck. I notice when I try to watch videos via youtube or using skype or FB, or even if I'm not doing anything at all, the WIFI connection all of a sudden the connection drops for 2-10 seconds then reconnects again.
This appears to be a common issue for other users of the Nexus 10, though I have not come across a clear troubleshooting procedure to fix the problem.
The problem: my Nexus 10 encounters an 'authentication problem' when trying to connect to my home WiFi network. The network signal appears very strong, and the correct password has been entered for WPA security.
I am unable to connect with Xubuntu 12.04 to the wifi in the library at my university. I am on that network right now on the same laptop, but booted into windows.
