Simple question, can I create widgets with Tasker to change settings? For example, say I create a widget called "Work", when I press that widget I want it to lower the volumes (ring and notification), disable vibrate (very important), turn off WiFi and haptic feedback.
All over the net, I see that people have made NFC tags, and make them toggle beteen settings. For example turning wifi off, gps on, bluetooth on when they enter the car, when they exit the car, they just hit the tag again, and then the settings will be set as they were before (or just set to some other setting).
As far as I see, you have to use the Tasker app to make it.
I like Beats Audio when listening to music through the phone's speakers, but it sounds terrible when streaming over Bluetooth in my car. I'd love to find a way to have it automatically turn off when Bluetooth is connected, but I haven't found a way yet. I use Llama and also own Tasker, and neither one has an option to turn it on or off.
I am using a droid DNA running Eva and Tasker. When I receive a text message eva jumps in and announces who the message is from. I want my sound on, but not that announcement. I wrote a tasker profile to go to silent mode when the messages app runs. I watch the sound toggle switch on and off but I still get the Eva sound message. Can anyone help?
