I am new to tasker and would like to know how to create a task that will toggle a widget. For example, I would like my "tether GPS" widget to turn on whenever my wifi tethering is enabled. From what I have read so far it looks like I have to create a new widget with tasker that does the same thing as the widget I already have.
I was wondering if there was a way to create a widget with tasker that disables certain profiles. I ask this because when I travel I use my phone for maps and spotify. The instant I change from maps to spotify tasker tends to kill my gps. I also have a tasker profile to run greenify every so often.
Basically what title says. Is there anyway to use tasker to toggle the virtual mouse setting? In some games the right analog stick is used to control viewing but yet it still shows the mouse pointer (Modern Combat 4 does this). I looked in Tasker and Secure Settings and neither had anything.
I've created a tasker profile using the secure settings plugin (the gps toggle in system+ actions) that turns on gps whenever maps is opened. It turns location on (if I pull down the settings, location is indeed on) and I can even see the little icon flashing that means that it's trying to locate me, however it never actually manages to find me.
I want to use Tasker with Zooper Widget. If I install the "regular" Zooper Widget Free, in Tasker I have a Zooper option under Plugins when creating a new task.
But with the zooper version that comes within Themer i can´t find the option in Tasker. Am I doing something wrong? or is it a Themer Zooper restriction
Before I had my MAXX, I had a Galaxy Nexus. I used tasker to turn on my hotspot when in the car so my tablet (gps) would have data. It was all automated and working quite well. Now that I have upgraded to the MAXX, I'm having difficulty figuring out how to get this automation. Has anyone had any success with tasker, or another app?
Howdy all. I was wondering if anybody has been able to toggle the wifi hotspot via Tasker, software toggle, or anything like that?
I have tried to set up the task to toggle the hotspot in a number of ways. I've tried it native, Secure Settings, Wifi Hotspot Plugin, using toggle, on, and off options. It works to enable the hotspot, but it will not disable the hotspot.
Simple question, can I create widgets with Tasker to change settings? For example, say I create a widget called "Work", when I press that widget I want it to lower the volumes (ring and notification), disable vibrate (very important), turn off WiFi and haptic feedback.
