I have been programming in Android for going on 2 years and I still do not know the hazards (if there are any) of using deprecated API. Most of the time I write the code I see the warning against using the deprecated code. However the latest stable version of android is 4.4 at which my app works perfectly fine using the deprecated code.
how detect deprecated method in android application? which resource is needed, for example class files..
My problem is the derecated error is reported in local eclipse but not reported in server for same source. Then what should I check for this problem? please help
I have been trying to make a simple app that displays the user's longitude and latitude, but I have been unable to determine how to do this without using any classes that have recently been deprecated (such as LocationClient).
I want exactly the answer marked as useful here says to work. But Eclipse editor cross out the word LayoutAlgorithm because it is deprecated and I cannot install the application in emulator.
Before that, I've tried to use style tag in the html document (in assets folder) to resize image in relation to window size and works perfectly in Chrome but not in webview.
