http://androidforums.com – Hello, I am currently using a note 2 which has been rooted. I I haven't done anything yet like custom roms or over clicking. However, my phone seems to be using up a lot of ram. This is my first ever android device and I can't understand whether this is normal or not. I am running jelly bean 4.1.1. I've just rooted my galaxy S3 GT i9300 on 4.0.4 ICS system and now I'm thinking about installing custom ROM...

I don't have a Jelly Bean (and don't know if It's allready available) and I was looking for custom ROMS which are Jelly Bean ROM-s.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 It is running stock ICS and is rooted. I am just wondering how can i backup everything on my phone. So that i can use the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean via ParanoidAndroid custom ROM.

Do i have to remove the root and flash stock firmware on the phone again?

Hey there, this is my first android phone and well,,, I do not fully understand the meaning of root. I do want to delete some of my stock apps and what not so i rooted my device from a tutorial, but I don't know where to go from here.

Ive rooted my phone, update to the "official" jelly bean, still running stock no custom roms or anything. Stock camera and gallery too. My battery is draining like crazy. I took it off the charger at 100% around 8:30 this morning. I went back to sleep and woke up around 11:15 am or so and it was at about 68%. It's now 11:56 and at 48%.

I live in Japan and own a Samsung Galaxy Nexus. I'm running on the Docomo network.

I've rooted my phone.

hi ive been looking for a guide on how to root my phone to get jelly bean on it. ive seen on posts that it is possible but i dont know how to do it to begin with. can anyone please point me to a guide or tell me how to do it.

i have an HTC sense 2.1 running android 2.3.4 i have not yet rooted my phone because i cant find a guide on that either any help would be awesome

Hey guys,i successfully rooted my micromax a25 and flashed CWMrecovery and flashed a unofficial rom ,taken risk but success have fully customized with init.d and build.prop tweaks and is pre-rooted. see the attached pictures.

So, I own a Droid Razr Maxx and as the title suggests, I can not get jelly bean to update.

So, the phone is/was rooted. I wiped it to factory and I still have the custom boot screen and some custom icons. Is this the cause of the problem? Either way, can someone help me get rid of them? Thanks.
