I'm posting here because I'm trying to help someone with their device, but the forums won't let me post links because I'm new. So here is my introductory post... can I please post links so that I may help some poor chap?
When I use my android device, I can sync my contacts from Facebook and twitter with their photos et al. I've also been using the Windows 8 developers preview recently which links into your Windows Live account. Is there any method to do something similar in Ubuntu? or are there plans to do so in later releases?
Have someone knew how to root xperia miro and change the default directory folder from internal memory to external memory?

I've been trying to post a message to this forum for a couple of days. I keep getting referred to a message that I need to have an account on the system before I can post.
Have you ever clicked on suspiciously salacious videos or links from your Facebook friends, only to find out that it leads you to a website full of naughty images and pop-up windows?
I recently installed F17 onto a USB flash drive so that I can plug it into my laptop any time I need to and, you know, use Fedora.
However, the UI seems to be a bit... akward.
I've just joined an organisation that is looking to move to Git - Hooray! However, they want all the developers to commit using same account - Boo! I'm having a hard time convincing them that this is not a standard practice.
Are there any cons from running Git in this way? If anyone has any showstoppers I'd be really happy as something about this feels very wrong to me.
Dear forum admins and staff,
Now and then I post links to my blog, if I happen to publish there something related to Ubuntu. Most of the time the thread is promptly closed; if I send a PM to the staff it eventually gets re-opened.
What are exactly the rules regarding links to personal blogs? If indeed this is not an acceptable attitude I'll simply stop doing it.
Well, since they all rolled out at the same time I can do this in one post.
We now have threads and releases of source-built kernels including Agat's recovery for Jelly Bean!
Here are the carrier specific thread links:
